Colin on the set of Flight of Passage

Colin Ebeling was born and raised in Arlington Heights, IL. After high school, he moved to Los Angeles where he graduated with a degree from UCLA’s famed Department of Theatre, Film and Television. After college, Colin started working in TV production at CBS in Studio City. It was there he met his long time business partner, Henry Saine. The duo joined forces to create several music videos, short movies and live concert films, including several projects with world renowned singer/songwriter Sara Bareilles. Colin also worked closely with television Executive Producer Jhoni Marchinko for many years under pilot deals at NBC, Warner Bros., HBO and ABC.

While in development for Bounty Killer, Colin and Henry’s first feature lm together, Colin took inspiration from his grandfather’s heroism as a Navy pilot in WWII and got his private pilot certification. What began as a lark soon turned to a lifelong passion that directly lead to Flight of Passage. His deep reverence for Rinker’s story set him on his own adventure, one that yielded him the rights to the memoir as well as many new friends and supporters in the world of aviation.
